I'm taking part in the Pink Ribbon Breakfast campaign this year to help support Breast Cancer Foundation NZ's vital work. This May I wanted to do my part through bringing together a community to share food and open up discussion and talk about breast cancer awareness. Around two years ago I was able to chop off my hair for the Breast Cancer Foundation with my lovely friend Lulu Sullivan and we were able to raise over $1000 for the cause. Because my hair has not yet grown back to a decent length, this year I'm hosting a pink Ribbon Breakfast!
The money raised will be used to fund research projects and medical grants to help improve survivorship, as well as support patients and their families during treatment and recovery. If you have a spare dollar, or even 10 cents, please donate today to help make zero deaths from breast cancer a reality.
