We’re inviting staff and students within schools to host their own Pink Ribbon Breakfasts to raise funds for life-saving breast cancer research and patient support. A Pink Ribbon Breakfast for staff can be fun, social and provide a way to give something back to the community. It’s also a great opportunity for students to add value to their CVs and enhance university applications.
In 2017 New Zealanders raised over $1.8 million by hosting their own Pink Ribbon Breakfast events at home, in workplaces and in schools across the country.
Stuck for ideas? It doesn’t have to be a breakfast! Here’s some tips for raising money at school:
- Host a mother and daughter pink ribbon breakfast before school
- Incorporate a pink mufti day in exchange for a gold coin donation
- Hold a head shave
- Bake up a storm with a cake sale one lunch time
